Manhattan, New York (in the middle of consumerism)

Such a doubt

Lives underneath my skin

Crawling or else

Climbing once in a while

To my head and a heart (Who gave voice to it?)

I do pay rent to have a place in this world

A world that cares for a

Deposit and a contract

It seems everyone else is paying

Only this doubt lives inside my skin and

Do not pay ME a rent or else

It has a debt

which it fails to pay

and I keep charging an interest

But my doubt, I will not ask you to vacate

For a reason I know your struggle but an interest is still and

will be charged.

you see.

that is how the

World works

I know.
